Experimental Study of Effect of Casting Sand Formula on Its Performance

Through a series of experiments on the performance of the new casting sand and the old sand,the function of FS powder and coal powder in the casting sand was understood.The Effect of the each casting sand on their performance was analyzed.Contrasting with the casting sand proportion and performance,the casting sand of the improvement formula for the EuroⅡ cylinder block,M593 and P471 shell casting sand were advanced.The problem of high reject rate of casting was solved for quality instability of casting sand.
