Feasibility Analysis of Alumina Red Mud Used in Flue Gas Desulfurization

For its strongly alkaline,alumina red mud had not been used effectively now and it was accumulation takes up lots of land.The chemical and mineral composition particle size distribution of red mud was analyzed in this paper.The principle of red mud for flue gas desulfurization,and thermodynamics analysis showed that the red mud desulfurization was feasible.
