Using the multi angle observation data of POLDER,the ocean color atmospheric correction algorithm is studied. In this algorithm,scattering by air molecule is computed by exact Rayleigh scattering,the foam scattering and sun glint are also corrected. Using the atmospheric correction algorithm described in this paper,the aerosol optical thickness and marine reflectance are obtained and compared with the POLDER level-2 product. The comparison indicates that ocean color product retrieved by this algorithm is good and the relative error is about 10%. The results provide reference for the development of multi angle ocean color remote sensing of China.
