Progress in Sealing Technology of Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells

Dye-sensitized solar cells(DSSC) have attracted wide attention as the third generation solar cell.But the short useful life of DSSC is one of the main factors which limit DSSC to practical application.The liquid electrolyte which used in DSSC is easy to volatile or leak,therefore sealing is a key of DSSC to keep reliable durability and stability.The sealing is emphasized specially from the DSSC technology,including the classification,sealing process of small-size and the performance of high efficient DSSC,large-size DSSC module(such as flexible DSSC and rechargeable DSSC),tube-shape DSSC.The future development and application of DSSC are discussed.
