摘要
Measurements of the domain wall (DW) velocity v versus magnetic field H in yttrium orthoferrite by means of a dark field method are reported. The nonlinear character of the subsound domain wall dynamics is confirmed by numerous sets of the measured v(H) dependencies. Results of the work are summarized by histograms showing how often a given value of the velocity appeared in the measured v(H) curves. More than 20 maxima in the velocity range 200-1100 m/s are seen at. the histograms. An assumption is made that the nonlinearities may be due to the newly discovered lines of zero magnetization in orthoferrites.
