Quantitative Dual-Energy CT in Abdominal Imaging: Technical Considerations and Emerging Clinical Applications

The ability of dual-energy CT to generate multiple image sets from which different quantitative parameters are derived has improved lesion detection and characterization in abdominal imaging, optimized radiation therapy workflow, and enabled development of quantitative radiomics and biomarkers.
