Social prescribing: right idea, wrong name?

From its first edition onwards, DTB has published assessments of therapeutic interventions to help doctors, pharmacists and nurses make informed and unbiased choices to help patients get the best care. Over the years, DTB has reviewed medicines, medical devices and drug delivery systems, as well as surgical, dietary and psychiatric interventions. Our reviews consider the quantity and quality of published data on efficacy, safety and cost-effectiveness, as well as practical aspects of the treatment that are likely to be important to patients.
