Rediscovery of the only known salmonfly from China, Pteronarcys sachalina Klapálek, 1908 (Plecoptera: Pteronarcyidae)

The only known Chinese species of Pteronarcyidae, Pteronarcys sachalina Klapálek, 1908 Klapálek, F. (1908), ‘Pteronarcys sachalina sp. n., die Zweite Asiatische Art der Gattung. (Neuroptera, Plecoptera)’, Bulletin de l’Acad´Emie Imp´Eriale des Sciences de St.-P´Etersbourg, 2, 237–238. [Google Scholar], is rediscovered from Jilin Province of northeastern China. Redescriptions and new illustrations for male, female, and nymphae of Chinese population of P. sachalina are provided.
