Clinical observation of artificial tear gel combined with diclofenac sodium eye drops in the treatment of dry eye syndrome

Objective To study the clinical effect of artificial tears gel joint diclofenac sodium eye drops in the treatment of dry eyes.Methods Selected 218 patients (436 eyes) of dry eyes,divided into treatment group and control group,the treatment group received combined application of carbomer eye drops and diclofenac sodium eye drops; while control group received carbomer eye drops used alone at four times daily.Observation time was for before and 5,10,20 days after treatment.The patient's symptoms,BUT,Schirmer I test,and FL were observed.Results Combined treatment group is better than the simple drug group.The two groups was statistically difference.Conclusions Artificial tears gel joint diclofenac sodium eye drop has good curative effect in the treatment of dry eye syndrome.
