摘要
The paper focuses on the irrigation management techniques developed over four crop cycles of rice production under mechanized irrigation in field scale applications. The paper opens with a brief review of the historic data relating to irrigation of rice with center pivots. Then a discussion of the field locations, irrigation equipment and characteristics, and crop data are presented for the four crop cycles. The data includes but is not be limited to phenology, soil moisture, climatic, and irrigation. Also included is a discussion of two different crop models used to schedule irrigation and their performance. The paper closes with a discussion and recommendations developed for managing irrigation under mechanized irrigation.
