Determination of Chloride Ions in Ethylamine Type Substances by Ion Chromatography

A method for fast determination of chloride in ethylamine substance by ion chromatography was developed.With the valve-switching technique, a large amount of ethylamine substance were eliminated from sample solution and in the meantime Cl- was accumulated on concentration column, which resulted in the removal of the matrix.The method has been successfully applied to determine the concentration of Cl- in ethylamine substance.
