New Process for Separating Potassium Chloride from Brines

In this paper, the effects of temperature and the amount of methanol added to the solution containing potassium chloride or/and sodium chloride on the saturated solubility of KCl and/or NaCl are studied respectively. Based on the experimental results, a new process for separating potassium chloride from brines is proposed.
