Analysis on the chemical constituents of the leaves of Ligularia veitchiana

Aim:To study the chemical constituents of the leaves of Ligularia veitchiana.Methods:Silica gel and sephadex LH-20 chromatography were used to isolate the chemical constituents whose chemical structure were identified by chemical,physical,and spectral methods .Results and Conclusion: Three compound were isolated and identified:β-sitosterol, 8β-hydroxyeremophil-7(11)-en-12,8α(14β,6α)-dioxide, and daucosterol.
