Manifesting and identification of giftedness in early age

The work analyses the issues on manifesting giftedness in early age, as well as its identification (need, ways, methodological problems, lack of instruments for a reliable early identification...). The authors offer a review of an alternative approach to early identification (based on the Y. Benito and I. Moro project' Project for an early identification of gifted pupils'),as well as the results of an investigation carried out in Yugoslavia on the basis of this project. The finds we came upon outside the procedure given y this project are especially analysed (teachers' assessment on the manifestation of high potentials of potentially gifted children in early age).
