摘要
A Fabry-perot (FP) antenna with radiation pattern reconfigurable by injecting liquid metal into the partially reflective surface (PRS) is presented in this paper. The PRS is divided into three layers, which are symmetrical about X axis and Y axis, and the liquid metal can be injected into the intermediate layer to achieve beam steerable functions. The proposed antenna has a simple structure and the cavity height is only about a quarter of the working wavelength. Simulation results show that the antenna's radiation pattern can achieve up to 15° beam tilting at 9.7 GHz. The proposed FP antenna has excellent reconfigurable performance and low profile, and it can be used in wireless communication systems.
