摘要
Full thickness soft-tissue defects along the volar hand can be caused by trauma, tumour resection, infection, Dupuytren's and scar release. Under the circumstance when the underlying structures are exposed, soft tissue coverage is required. Numerous flap coverage options for little finger defects are described in the literature, each with their respective advantages and disadvantages. The choice of which to use is determined by defect size, location and the individual preference of the surgeon and patient.
