Decorating Co 3+ -rich Na 0.96 CoPO 4 with silver nanoparticles as a high-efficiency catalyst for the oxygen evolution reaction

The composite catalyst Ag@Na_0.96CoPO₄, consisting of a Na-ion-deficient Na_0.96CoPO₄ matrix and Ag nanoparticle modifiers, displays excellent activity in catalysing the OER, which can be ascribed to the tailored electronic structure of Co and the improved intrinsic activity, together with the strengthened interaction between Na_0.96CoPO₄ and Ag nanoparticles.
