摘要
Fluorescence based hydrogel glucose sensors are promising for improving continuous glucose monitoring. In article number 2001286 by Jun Sawayama and Shoji Takeuchi, a glucose responsive fluorescence PEG gel is developed; this hydrogel has stable glucose responses in vivo. The implantable device successfully traces blood glucose concentrations in diabetic model animal experiments. The device measures the glucose concentration with an equivalent accuracy to that required for clinically available settings.
