THE SPRAYING CHARACTERISTIC ACCORDING TO A SHAPE OF DISC/WHIRL OF NOZZLE FOR A SPEED SPRAYER

摘要
The spraying characteristics of nozzle used in a speed sprayer which is the machine for applying pesticides to plant are numerically investigated. The nozzle consists of a disc and whirl and makes liquid pesticides fine particles. According to the shape of disk/whirl of nozzle with a various inner pressure(15~25 bar), the injection angle and the amount of mass flux of nozzle are analyzed. The injection angles of nozzles with the all-in-one design(new and Albuz nozzle) are larger than that of combination nozzle(Con2, Con3, and ConS) at a given inner pressure. But the mass flux of new nozzle is the same of Con2 and ConS at a given pressure.
