On Some Problems of China's Consumption(Part One)

Consumption is one of the fundamental forces that can help stimulate national economic development.Consumption.We should make breakthrough in the understanding and practice of consumption.At present,influenced by the system,capacity,policy,foundation,concept,environment and cycle of consumption,there are some problems and misunderstandings with consumption in China.How to moderately improve consumption rate is one of the important issues for us to deal with for China's economic development.To improve citizen consumption rate,we should,first,get rid of the misunderstandings of consumption and encourage the scientific consumption by formulating a long-term mechanism.Second,we should deal with the relationship between consumption rate and investment rate,the relationship between urban resident consumption and rural resident consumption,the relationship between consumption demand and importing and exporting trading,and the relationship between immediate consumption and savings.And third,we should stay firmly grounded in reality and pay more attention to cultivating more areas of high consumer demand,such as housing consumption,vehicle consumption,rural consumption,travelling consumption,cultural consumption and community service consumption.
