Screening and Identification of Bacillus licheniformis for Probiotics

Based on conventional methods and criteria, 30 strains were separated from intestinal of healthy animals. After the 3 g/L bile salt resistance test, gastric juice, intestinal juice test, it was found that the strain of Bacillus LB8 was with excellent tolerance ability. Under the morphological, physiological and biochemical test, the LB8 was determined for Bacillus licheniformis, and named as Bacillus licheniformis LB8.
