Objective:To observe the curative effect of concentrated autogenous bone marrow stem cell transplant combined with traditional Chinese medicine on bone nonunion. Methods:All 50 patients with bone nonunion were divided into treatment group(A group) which treated by percutaneous autogenous bone marrow stem cell transplant combined with traditional Chinese medicine, and control group(B group) which treated by autogenous bone marrow stem cell transplant only, with 25 cases in each group. The growth of the bony callus and the healing time were observed after treatment. The curative effect was evaluated. Results:All patients in A group with fracture eventually healed, the average healing time was 6.8 months.While,22 patients in B group with fracture eventually healed, the average healing time was 8.4 months. There was statistically significant in fracture healing time between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion:Percutaneous autogenous bone marrow stem cell transplant combined with traditional Chinese medicine can improve osteogenesis and promote fracture healing.
