[Objective]To explore the effects of compound polysaccharides from spirulina platensis on protective effect of X-ray radiation injury in mice. [Method]The polysaccharides from spirulina platensis(PSP) was compounded with the extractive of Ginkgo Biloba(GBE) at the ratio of 1∶ 1 of different concentrations. The Kunming mouse were randomly divided into 5 groups(blank control, group, control group, lowdose group,mediate-dose group,high-dose group),except the blank control group, the control? group was given saline, the experimental groups were fed compound polysaccharides from spirulina platensis at different concentrations for 14d,and then the whole body of mice were irratiated by x-rays,after that, continue filling medication for 7d. [Result] The number of peripheral blood leukocyte of experimental groups were significantly different with control group, and the spleen and thymus indices were significantly increased(P 0. 01). The ratio of CD4+ /CD8 + rised, the cell recovery was significantly accelerated, the ratio of CD4 + /CD8 + of high-dose combination group was close to the blank control group. [Conclusion]The compound polysaccharides from spirulina platensis have protective effects on the immune function of Xray radiation injury in mice.
