The effects of two different purge techniques of continuous purging by little flux and transitory purging by much flux on the process of pressure swing adsorption(PSA) oxygen generating are studied experimentally on a small-scale PSA oxygen concentration equipment.The results show that,the product purity increases remarkably and come to 91% by employing of either purging techniques at the same product flow rate.The product purity is more sensitive to the purging time of the transitory purging by much flux.Product oxygen of 93% purity could be achieved by employing the two purge techniques at the same time.
