Studies on Chemical Constituents from the Stem of Schisandra chinensis(Turcz.)Baill.

Objective To study the chemical constituents from the stem of Schisandra chinensis(Turcz)Baill.Methods Various chromatographic techniques were used to separate and purify the constituents.Their structures were elucidated based on the physico-chemical properties and spectral data.Results Six compounds were obtained and elucidated as dehydrodiisoeugenol(Ⅰ);eriobofuran(Ⅱ);4,5-Dihydroxy-3-methoxybiphenyl(Ⅲ);Gomisin N(Ⅳ);(+)deoxyschizandrin(Ⅴ);β-Sitosterol(Ⅵ).Conclusion Among these compounds,compoundsⅠ～Ⅲ were obtained from the Schisandra for the first time.
