A New Method to Achieve Arcless Interruptions in AC Contactor

The arc is the important factor of AC contactor electricity life, in order to improve electricity life of AC contactor, arc should be reduced. A new method to achieve arcless interruptions in AC contactor was put forward. On one hand, special integrate circuit was used to make control circuit to achieve the first phase zero current AC contactor interruption, on the other hand, the PTC element was paralleled with the contact of AC contactor to absorb the circuit energy and achieve the arcless interruption.
