Pericardial effusion, cardiomegaly, oedema, and IgA deficiency in a child: coeliac disease

A 4-year old girl was admitted to our hospital after she collapsed at home while having dinner. She had a history of recurrent upper airway infections and wheezing, which were being treated with inhaled β2-adrenoceptor agonist, as an outpatient.
