In recent years, cardiovascular disease, as the most fatal disease, has attracted widespread attention. We designed a scanning robot to detect carotid artery based on photoacoustic theory. We simply clamp the photoacoustic probe already in the laboratory on this robot. It can replace the doctor's manual inspection. Play the role of liberating hands. In this paper, for this design, simulation verification before the experiment. Provide theoretical basis for actual experiments. We simulate the acquisition of different positions by imitating the actual probe scanning steps. Visualize simulation results through the k-wave toolkit and the Visualization Toolkit (VTK). The simulation results show that this robot can be compatible with existing photoacoustic equipment for uniform and low-cost photoacoustic imaging. What's more, we made a vascular simulation for photoacoustic imaging for experimental verification. The experimental results show that it can better show the many details of the three-dimensional blood vessel and the outline information, which provides a good Guidance for subsequent in vivo experiment.
