Simulating Research on the Effect of Reaction Temperature on Energy Consumption in Ammonia Synthesis System

The ammonia synthesis system was simulated with ASPEN PLUS and the influence of reaction temperature on the compression in synthesis loop and the energy consumption in heating and cooling process was discussed.The results indicated that the better the catalyst activity under low temperature the higher the ammonia concentration in synthesis converter and the lower the energy consumption in synthesis loop.
