Research on Iron Separation and Sulphur Removal from a Low Grade Magnetite Ore

Of the low grade magnetite ore,21.85% magnetite and 2.68%S is separable,(51.12%) of it in the pyrrhotite.By a combined technological process of magnetic separation-flotation,a marketability iron concentrate of 64.10%TFe and 0.45%S was obtained with a magnetism iron recovery rate of 79.50%.By another combined technological process of magnetic separation-flotation-chemistry processing,a high-quality iron concentrate of 64.23%TFe and 0.046%S with a magnetism iron recovery of 78.67% was obtained too.
