STUDY ON POLYSACCHARIDES IN MONGOLIAN MEDICINE HEIMURIGA-13

A method for the extraction of aqueous soluble polysaccharides in mongolian medicine Heimuriga-13 was described in this paper. The total amount of polysaccharides was determined by the sulphuric acid-phenol method. Average recovery was 98.9% and RSD was 0.95%. Components in polysaccharide were determined with gas chromatography and the amount ratios were 1.5∶0.7∶2.5∶2.45 and 23.0 in moles for arabinose, xylose, mannose, galoctose and glucose, respectively.
