HPLC Method for the Determination of the Sanqishangyao tablets of Paeoniflorin and Naringin

Objective To establish a HPLC method for content determination of paeoniflorin and naringin in Sanqishangyao tablets.Methods The separation was performed with a Agela Promosil C18 column(4.6 mm×250mm,5μm)and the mobile phase was acetonitrile-0.1%phosphate acid(19∶81).The flow rate was 1.0 ml/min and the wavelength of detection was 232 nm.The column temperature was 30℃.Results The liner range of paeoniflorin was 0.1146~1.719 μg(r=1.0000)and the average recovery was 99.71 %,RSD = 0.45 %(n=6);The liner range of naringin was 0.109~1.635μg(r=1.0000)and the average recovery rate was 99.96%,RSD =1.11%(n=6);Conclusion This method is accurate,simple,rapid and can be used to control the quality of Sanqishangyao tablets.
