Terahertz Technology Research and Prospect

THz wave is the frequency at 0.1-10THz(wavelength of 3 000-30μm) range of electromagnetic waves.It occupies a very special electromagnetic spectrum position in the electronics,the transition to the photonics area.THz radiation has many excellent features,has important academic and practical value.This article describes the THz detection technology research and development survey,briefly describes terahertz detection method,the main features,important academic value and the main products,and reviewed at home and abroad in the progress of terahertz wave research in the field of future development and application of an optimistic outlook.
