Olivine-type LiFePO4/Carbon composites were synthesized by the RAPET method using FePO4 as iron and phosphate sources, glucose, sucrose or citrate as carbon sources and LiOH or Li2CO3 as lithium sources, respectively. The effects of carbon and lithium precursors on the electrochemical performance of the derived LiFePO4/Carbon composites were investigated.XRD,CV,EIS and charge/discharge tests showed that all the LiFePO4/Carbon composites have good crystallites and excellent electrochemical performance.LiFePO4/Carbon composite synthesized using citrate as carbon source and Li2CO3 as lithium source shows the excellent performance with discharge capacity of 166.1 mAh /g at 0.1 C.
