The Review of Pathological Mechanisms in Huntington's Disease

Huntington's disease(HD),a fatal hereditary neurodegenerative disorder,is caused by expanded CAG repeats in the gene it-15.In current years,there has been an explosion of researches attempting to elucidate the mechanisms of neurodegeneration in HD.In this review,we try to link established theories of pathogenesis with more recently explored mechanisms of this disease,and developed a more unified theory of HD pathogenesis.
