Reliability of the Chinese version of Japanese knee osteoarthritis measure

Objective: To investigate the reliability of the Chinese version of Japanese knee osteoarthritis measure(JKOM), and provide objective basis for clinical application.Method: The knee function of 171 KOA patients were assessed with the JKOM. The intraclass correlation coefficient and Cronbach α were used to analysis the test-retest reliability and internal consistency reliability.Result: The Chinese version of JKOM had high test- retest reliability(ICC=0.947—0.993). Cronbach α of health status was 0.632, Cronbach α of the other 4 parts and the whole scale was 0.755—0.958, had high internal consistency reliability.Conclusion: The Chinese version of JKOM has high reliability. And it can be applied to the evaluation of patients with knee osteoarthritis.
