On-line Detection and Diagnosis of Electrical Equipment Thermal Faults Based on Infrared Imaging Technology

Compared to traditional thermal fault methods,infrared imaging technology is,by on-line test electrical equipment changes in temperature,remote,accurate and non-contact,so that we can timely find electrical equipment failure.The principle of infrared imaging technology is introduced.According to national standard for internal and external thermal fault diagnosis of electrical equipment,a more detailed and effective judgment method is raised through analysis and summary.This method is verified by practical applications which includes infrared imaging technology in heat insulator string fault,cable infrared imaging fault,switch internal heat fault,current transformer internal heat fault and so on.
