Monthly changes in gonads of nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) fish in Euphrates river passage in Samawa city

The current study included a study of the changes of Nile Tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus Tilapia fish in the Euphrates river in the section passing through the city of Samawah and showed that the females were superior to males of both sexes and the ratio of sex reached (4: 1) in April. The study included the study of sexual function, which reached a peak in March (4.87, 4.50) for females and males of Oreochromis niloticus in addition to the study of hepatic function, which reached the highest in March month (7.15, 5.17) for females and males. The study examined the physical status. The highest percentage was in March also (374.23, 318.61%) for females and males, respectively. The study also showed the relationship between length and weight and was a positive relationship, where height increases weight of this fish.
