We appreciate the interest in our recent study [ [1] Khandwala YS, Soerensen SJC, Morisetty S, et al. The association of tissue change and treatment success during high-intensity focused ultrasound focal therapy for prostate cancer. Eur Urol Focus 2023;9:584–91. Google Scholar ] from Dr. Gravina and colleagues. Our study revealed that tissue changes measured using tissue change monitoring (TCM) values during focal high-intensity focal ultrasound (HIFU) for prostate cancer was associated with histopathology and radiological outcomes 12 mo after the procedure. Gravina et al make several points in their Letter to the Editor that we would like to address.
