Research on image feature extraction algorithm

Image feature extraction belongs to the category of image analysis, it is the advanced stage of digital image processing, at the same time, it is also the initial stage of image recognition. This work mainly introduces the two algorithms of image feature extraction: HOG feature and LBP feature, and introduces the basic meaning, main idea, specific implementation method, performance, advantages and disadvantages of each algorithm respectively. The two algorithms of image feature extraction are compared and analyzed in order to provide help for further research ideas of image feature extraction.
