Efficient catalysis of H2O2with ionic liquid molecules to generate hydroxyl radicals and application in green chemistry cotton processes

IL molecules can efficiently catalyze H 2 O 2 to produce ˙OH radicals at room temperature and very low concentrations, thus the IL/H 2 O 2 system could be applied in cotton cold pad-batch bleaching, achieving combined scouring/bleaching one step process.
