摘要
A methodology for a regiodivergent hydrogenation of quinolines is reported using broadly available and commercial supported ruthenium catalysts. cis- or trans-Decahydroquinolines are obtained in high yield and high diastereoselectivity by simple variation of the catalyst and/or reaction temperature.
