摘要
This paper deals with a high-frequency equivalent modeling method of a power inductor used in PFC converters. The proposed math model allows for the computation of the high-frequency characteristics by means of simulation model only. The approach is demonstrated by comparing math model results with real measurements. Besides, this paper analyzes the applicability of the model under different modulation schemes and different topologies. The proposed high-frequency inductor model is very helpful for EMI spectrum prediction, inductor design optimization and DM noise suppression for EMI, since the high-frequency behavior of DM noise mainly depends on the magnetic materials used and the geometric characteristics of the windings.
