Study on the relationship between CFRP continuous hole making results and dagger drill wear

Abstract In this paper, a simulation study of the CFRP hole making process was carried out, and a three-dimensional macroscopic drilling model of CFRP was established to obtain temperature and damage form data. On this basis, a dagger drilling temperature measurement tool was designed, fabricated, and tested. The drilling orthogonal test was carried out to obtain the optimal processing parameters, with which the continuous hole making test was conducted to obtain the relationship between the hole making temperature and tool wear.
