Air conditioners have become an important part of the urban electric load, especially in summer. With the development of power electronics technology, the proportion of inverter air conditioners in the air conditioner consumer market has increased year by year. Therefore, it is of great significance to study an accurate inverter air conditioner load model to improve the simulation accuracy for a po] wer system. In this paper, the dynamic characteristics of an inverter air conditioner under voltage sag disturbance are tested, and a non-mechanical simplified model for an inverter air conditioner is proposed based on experimental data. The experimental data for inverter air conditioners under cooling, heat pump and electric auxiliary heating with heat pump modes prove the effectiveness of the simplified model. Subsequent research will further verify the adaptability of the simplified model to different levels of voltage disturbance and the integration method with the existing load model.
