摘要
The degradation of the interface between Plansee Ducrolloy alloy (Cr‐5 wt % Fe‐1 wt % ) (PD) and (LSM) ceramic was studied by means of electrical resistance measurements at 900°C in air humidified with 2% and with a dc load of and by scanning electron microscopy/energy‐dispersive spectroscopy of cross sections of the samples. One sample of PD alloy with plasma‐sprayed and a contacting layer of exhibited little degradation, estimated to be after 10,000 h. Other samples of PD were coated by different spinel‐forming slurries pretreated in mixtures at 950 and 1000°C. Coatings forming spinel and using as a contacting layer showed a low estimated degradation of after 10,000 h. Another spinel appeared to reduce Cr diffusion significantly, and when used together with a mixed perovskite made of 1:1 of LSM and as a contacting layer, exhibited estimated degradation of for 10,000 h. © 2000 The Electrochemical Society.
