Abstract Summary: The adsorption behavior of laponite on cellulose model surfaces was studied by a quartz crystal microblance with dissipation (QCM‐D). The influence of prior adsorption of a trihydroxysilane has also been investigated. XPS was used to determine the elemental composition of the surfaces.
