The Effects of Tai Chi on Physical Functioning in Older Adults with Parkinson's Disease

This brief review of the literature summarizes the findings of several studies examining the effect of tai chi interventions on the physical functioning of older adults diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease.  A Knowledge Translation Plan (KTP) that describes how the presented findings can be used by recreation therapists to develop evidence-based interventions is provided in both text and graphic format.
