Stakeholder theory,a corporate governance theory which has challenged the traditional concept of shareholders supremacists has been accepted in recent years.This paper analyses stakeholder theory from the theoretical background,definition and types,and the relationship between stakeholder theory and corporate governance,presenting the effect of the stakeholder theory on the business practices and its limitations.
