Humorous Utterance Analysis from the Perspective of Relevance Theory

On the basis of Relevance Theory,this paper analyzes the humorous utterances from the aspects of communicative intention,contextual effects and relevance principle,and concludes that the relevance theory promotes the comprehension of humorous utterances.
